Ads & trackers blocked
Every request is checked against filter lists, empty ad boxes are hidden, and trackers disguised as a site's own subdomain are caught.
Zyphyx is a lightweight browser built on Chromium that blocks ads and trackers, keeps your connection encrypted and stays out of your way.
The protections are on from the first page you open. No extensions, no account, no setup.
Every request is checked against filter lists, empty ad boxes are hidden, and trackers disguised as a site's own subdomain are caught.
Addresses are upgraded to HTTPS. If a site can't do it, you're warned and choose whether to continue.
Send all of Zyphyx's traffic through an encrypted tunnel, without touching your other apps.
DNS over HTTPS through Quad9, Cloudflare or Mullvad, with an optional strict mode.
utm_*, fbclid, gclid and friends are stripped, and redirect trackers on search and social sites are skipped.
Keep Personal, Work, Shopping and Banking in separate windows that can't see each other's cookies.
Background tabs are frozen and later discarded, so a hundred tabs don't cost you your memory.
F9 shows just the article: text, headings and pictures on a plain, readable page.
Follow Windows light and dark, or pick Nord, Dracula, Solarized or a theme of your own.

To check your download, run this in PowerShell and compare the result with the line above:
Get-FileHash .\Zyphyx-0.2.3-setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Windows may warn that the installer is from an unrecognized publisher, since it isn't code-signed yet. Choose More info โ Run anyway once you've checked the hash.
Zyphyx runs on macOS and Linux too. Until there are installers, run it from source with uv, which fetches Python and Qt for you:
uv run zyphyx
